Dr. Merandi Headshot

Get To Know Dr. Merandi

Dr. Merandi earned her undergraduate degree in 2001, majoring in Art & Design while attending the University of Notre Dame on a volleyball scholarship. She received her master’s degree in Education in 2003 and enjoyed many years as a visual arts educator and volleyball coach. After being a part of several service organizations over the years, Dr. Merandi realized she could combine her love of art and serving others as a healthcare provider in the wonderful field of dentistry. Designing and improving smiles became her passion.

She graduated from The University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston in 2018. Her non-traditional path to dentistry combines a personal approach to patient care, an artist’s attention to detail, and a passion for lifelong learning. Patients appreciate her down-to-earth demeanor and sincere desire to help others. Dr. Merandi enjoys all aspects of dentistry and educating patients to improve both their oral and overall systemic health.

Dr. Merandi is a native Texan who loves the outdoor lifestyle of Georgia (although she still roots for the Astros!) When not tending to smiles, she can most likely be found on the sidelines of one of her boys’ sporting events or working on a renovation project with her husband and three sons.

Cheyenne has been working in the dental field as a dental assistant for 4 years. She graduated from Woodland High School and went on to attend Dental Assisting School. She has a passion for helping people and started working in the dental field to help serve her community. Cheyenne is married to her high school sweetheart, Cody, and together they have one daughter, Blakely. In her free time she loves to spend time with her family, ride her husband’s motorcycle, and spend time with her dog. She loves working at DownEast Smile Company because our office is welcoming, friendly and makes work feel like family.

Originally from California, Jenni has lived in the Cartersville area for the past several years. She started her dental hygiene career 7 years ago and graduated from Georgia Highlands College from the Dental Hygiene program in May of 2017. She enjoys educating her patients about oral hygiene and performing quality cleanings for her patients. She is dedicated to everything she sets her mind to and is also a great team player. When she is not at work, Jenni enjoys spending time with her husband and two beautiful boys, cooking and exploring new places!

Tracey has lived in the area for over thirty years. She is a proud Berry College graduate, wears the hats of a devoted wife and mother of two. Her daughter, Maddie, is pursuing dentistry, while son Sean thrives at Army West Point. She is an avid tennis player. Rooted in family and faith, Tracey finds joy in the company of her two retrievers, embodying a life rich in love and purpose. Tracey enjoys her work and loves the people she works with.

What to Expect

During your first visit, you’ll sit down with Dr. Merandi for a one-on-one meeting in our comfortable consultation room. Then, we’ll take you on a tour of the office, and bring you to your treatment room for your first appointment. We’ll take the time to answer any questions you may have, and do everything we can to ensure your comfort during your visit!

Digital orthodontic scanners create a computerized 3D model of your mouth. Dr. Merandi takes this scan and designs a clear aligner treatment plan that uses the least amount of movements. This means faster treatment times and a more comfortable experience overall.

Our CBCT imaging creates detailed images that let Dr. Merandi create precise treatment plans for dental implants and other procedures that require precise placement.

3D printers have become popular in all areas of science and that applies to dentistry too! We can 3D print crowns, bridges, dentures, nightguards, mouthguards, and more in less time than many traditional appointments.

As part of a larger organization called LIVE2540, LOVE is committed to the restoration of hope and health for the abused and abandoned, the hungry, and the sick in Africa.
